  Allow me to repeat: there might be great benefits to full disclosure even if the aliens are not benevolent or altruistic in response as explained above.

  Beyond that -

  Do they have a sort of "Prime Directive" a la StarTrek? Non-interference in other cultures? Does that non-interference still hold if we acknowledge them and request their assistance?

  What's a Golden Age? Oil companies and Big Banks and Big Government fade away because we don't need them. Wars fade away because resources aren't scarce anywhere.

  Now Iam more inclined to agree with the sentiments of the above fine song by "Muse".

  I understand Zetas are suppossedly an Alien peoples, but really they are just our leaders in disguse, "conquer nothing but our minds" means its just propogander.

  There are supposed projects such as Project Blue Beam where a staged "Alien invasion" turns the populous into excepting the One World Government, the likes of William Cooper claim to be inside Whislte blowers confirm such.

  Revelation 13 mentions about these decievers being able to make "fire come down out of the sky" in order to deceive mankind into accepting this global government.

  Do a bit of research into the likes of HARRP to see such technology is now available.

  When both the Bible and conspiracy theories seem to be pointing at the same things and at the same time, Iam more inclined to accept such than so called Aliens coming such a long way, only to fly around a bit so people can see them, or to crash!

  And anyway, how come our leaders are letting little clues out that "they" will come this year?, how do they know, did "they" tell them, if people keep spotting them, doesnt that mean they are allready here?, seems like Hollywood and the media have been programming us to expect such a thing for quite a few decades now.

  If we take history as our teacher, contact with a superior civilization has not worked out well for people. The best examples are European contact with Africa and the New World, but there are many others.

  I don't think these Mayan/Crop Circle dates mean anything. However UFO sightings seem to be greatly increasing and various nations are releasing their files on this stuff. I think Australia did so today.

  In addition, there seems to be a big increase in credible testimony as with Roswell witnesses, officers in the military, aircraft pilots and so on.

  If these trends continue, then Disclosure happens. UFO's become ordinary, mundane as events.

  no golden age, we're talking about selfish humans. We don't need God for war, and hatred.

  If there are aliens that can actually travel to earth what are the chances they are different from humans? Do they need to be god like ones, righteous so that they come in peace willing to put up with human BS? If so, you can replace God idea with Alien one and then are we to respect their laws because assumably they are more powerful and wise?

  How long would it take for a group disliking one aspect of their new ideas before we would have anti-alien movement and in-fighting? Or would humans submit to a "totalitarian" rule?

  One thing for sure, no Golden Age just as there will never be peace between a lion and it's prey.

  I'm guessing the aliens will show up via a small crew on a solar sail boat (they, unlike us, don't need oxygen to survive in outer space, and can live off space-dust they collect, being non-carbon-based life forms). They will be looking to us for new ideas, being impressed with nuclear reactors, even internal combustion engines, electric lights, etc. Think of the intergalactic version of Vietnamese boat people.

  Of course, they'd probably be wiped out after a long trip, crashing into our atmosphere and burning up before we even got to meet them, LOL! Maybe they'd knock on the door of the ISS.

  That scenario is as great of a possibility as them teaching us stuff....

  This planet might be united if they viewed such life as a danger, or one part work with them against others on earth.

  What a human way of thinking...assume danger or unite and kill. What would they have to learn from us? Considering they would have to be highly intelligent to get here...I think they must have already overcome the desire to destroy themselves...or maybe they have already destroyed their planet like we are doing and they are looking for a new home. Either way...I doubt we have anything to teach them...maybe we could learn.

  KS...If aliens made it to our shores....they would have to be much more advanced than us purely because of the distances they would have to travel. We might seem like cavemen to them...LOL
