The events taking place on the World Scene and God's Holy Spirit have made it abundantly clear that it is His time that the publication of this magazine should cease. It has served His purpose and it has served its course in stirring millions of honest hearted persons to AWAKEN to the nearness of the end of this wicked system of things.
The time for the "milk" of Truth has passed as "solid food" (Heb. 5:12) is what is necessary to prepare God's people for the Tribulaton ahead. The Watchtower magazine, published since 1879 will continue to transmit God's word of Truth and any New Light that He sees fit to provide as our understanding of scripture contues as a "bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established" (Prov. 4:18) at the conclusion of this system of things.
