The theological stupidity of the WTS. shines brightly on this particular one doctrine as many others do,
for if they were well studied students of ancient history concerning the middle east they would know that the words spoken in the bible
were concerning the northern kingdom of Israel, separate from the lower southern Kingdom of Judah.
And no the northern part is not going to invade the southern half to start the beginning of the GT and Armageddon.

At school,for me, there were these bomb drills in the Bay Area in California in the '50s. I had the also double whammy fear, studied that the "King of the North" was definitely coming against us very soon too, in the "Your Will Be Done on Earth" book.
when the "Wall" went down and there was dancing in the streets, my kids, were so surprised about my reaction. Many things I was raised up with, as things for so certain, had so changed.

Its both interesting and disturbing how the WTS. leaders take ancient mystical stories and turn them into vehicles of fear to exploit and commercialize.
Fear is their greatest act of manipulation but since this religious organization is structured around a publishing house its no wonder they would use
this to attract attention to themselves and their literature in this manner.
It also works to control people once they do have their hooks in people's jaws.
Fred Franz was truly a self absorbing arrogant but quaintly ignorant bible theologian.
One thing he was proficient at was creating a profusion of fear through the articles he wrote, perhaps he assumed
it was his endeavored responsibility as the head editorial writer for the Watchtower Corporation.
