I dream of living in Iceland.
Cold.
(I assume).
And a mixture of volcanic and Ice activity.
I would spend my life painting pics of these two extreme manifestations.
AS well as paintings of lightning storms. ( which I already do) -

Her Ladyship and I have plans to open a small business on Madeira Island (Portugal) in about 5 years time. The island is astonishingly beautiful, we would hopefully open our business in the capital, Funchal.
Funchal is just about the prettiest and cleanest city I have ever been in. This is Funchal:

One place I'd love to live is on Captiva Island, off the West coast of Florida. It's a beautiful island that hasn't been 'too' developed yet. However, if I could live ANYWHERE, why then I'd just have to travel around the world till I could make up my mind. There are so many places I want to see, so many experiences I want to have....
Canada is quite nice, don't think I could handle the cold weather for too long tho!
Hey Peter, long time, no talkie! How are ya??

If I could live ANYWHERE I would live EVERYWHERE!
I love traveling and wouldn't want to settle down in any one spot for very long.

I'm with you, Tim. If I'm going to dream, I'm going to dream BIG, so...
I'd have a summer home in San Francisco. LOVE that city.
I'd have a winter home in Sedona, AZ and an apartment in Venice, CA.
However, I'd spend most of my time in a shack in Cozumel – the warmest, most down to earth people I've ever been around.

I live in the U.S. but I have visited/lived in other countries...Greece, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Austria, and Germany. There are more but they allude me at the moment. My first choice is....ANYWHERE IN THE U.S. Second choice would be Germany. And third would be Canada.

It's amazing how different our answers are. I grew up in San Francisco and left because of the crowds and crime. Oregon has been great for me over the past decade. Some want to move to cool climates, others to warmer ones.
A year ago I would have said that OREGON is the best place in the world to live. Things change I guess. Maui still for me this morning :)
