No details yet... I want to get a general head-count before doing anything. What I can say is that it would be best to do it in April or May here in the Dallas area.
There are two basic ways to do this:
1. Buy some live crawfish and a boiler and boil them ourselves at a park. (I’ll handle the boiling/cooking details)
2. Go to a local restraint and have the gathering there.
Which would you prefer?
Being that crawfish now cost about $5 - $7 per pound, I will need everyone that comes to chip in... I miss the days when crawfish only cost $0.20 per pound live. (Oh no, I’m turning into my dad: “Why when I was a kid it only cost...”)
When ordering, I will assume that each person will eat about seven pounds of crawfish – Yes I know that some of you 10 – 20 pound eaters will scoff at this, but remember that there will be others that won’t eat all of their seven pounds!!!
