I know exactly what you mean when you still get furious about what happened to you. I remembered before I got married, a JW friend told me this.
"What ever you do, NEVER, tell any JW's your personal thoughts. Because if you do it could, and will get out to every one else in the congeration."
It was the best advice she had given me. But I did make one mistake, I had confided in my mother about some marrage problem, that I was trying to figure how to work out. But to make a long story short, everyone who was a JW at the time learned about my problem from my mom.

My "betrayal" made about as much sense as Beck's!
We had only been in a WV congregation a couple of months....I had invited a family up the road to dinner (hubby wasn't a JW but the wife and 3 kiddies went to the KH) The sister brought a 1/2 gallon of ice cream, which I put in the freezer and totally forgot about.
My oldest daughter had made a cake, and we served that for dessert....nobody said a WORD about the ice cream.
The sister had bought an article of clothign for her daughter, it didn't fit, it DID fit MY daughter, so I wrote her a check to pay her for it.
A few days later, I get a call from the Elders to set up a meeting about how I stumbled her worldly husband......(my first and only committee meeting in almost 30 years, mind you, LOL)
Seems that hubby was insulted cuz I chose not to serve the ice cream HE bought....we wanted to keep it for ourselves for later (are you KIDDING me?)
Apparently not, cuz I also was accused of fraud.....the check I made out was TEN CENTS less than what she had said the price of the clothing was.....NEVER said a word to me when I wrote it out.....
Such LOVE and warmth.....GAG!
Wanted to say "sorry" to Metatron as well.....it makes my blood boil!
