I had a friend that left the JWs and fell into another crazy religion led by a man who plagarized crazy ideas from all over as well as invented his own. It was called "The Way International".
Among his new beliefs is that God set a limit of 120 years on human life at the time of the flood. I think this comes from a reading of Gen 6:3: " Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”". In my opinion this could also have meant "I'm pissed off at people, I'm gonna destroy them. They've got 120 years left !" If you even believe in these stories, which I don't.
Well, if 120 years was meant as a lifespan, it's awfully close. My friend who took all of this literally said that's the absolute limit because God said so. It's impossible to live more than 120 years. He didn't know how to deal with the fact that the oldest documented person lived to be 122. I'm sure he never remembers hearing that. Every time I present evidence to him that's contrary to one of his beliefs, he forgets I ever mentioned it.

This is wonderful news, it certainly show how close we are to the end of this wicked world. Thank you Besse Cooper for showing us that god does not lie regarding his promises. This generation will not end until all these thing take place.
I for one will not be buying any green bananas.
