I've posted your site and Tallman's in well over a hundred letters to editors, city forums, other forums like FRAY @ msn, and countless others for weeks ans weeks now, only to have most of the public forums delete my posts in minutes.
I was up til 3:30 this morning, got SO many postd...all were wiped out when I logged on at 9:00 AM...grrrrr.....
I was really steamed and posted that apparently nobdy CARES about their kids or families (if they get sucked in by the smiling JWs) or they don't care about the little Witness kids either....who NO ONE is protecting at present!!!
ONE person came back and said *I* care, thank you......so I quickly posted the URLS again and left.
On one forum, I asked the "deleter" just WHY they felt it was alright to discuss the Pedophile Priests, but NOT the Pedophile JWs!!!
They deleted it :(
Go figure....

It's not as if the Dubs will care, for the most part! Whether it's on a meeting night or not is quite immaterial here - what matters is that the rest of the WORLD sees it, not the Dubs. A large fraction of Dubs already know MORE than what Dateline will air, and the rest are sheep, so even if you were to pull a Clockwork Orange on a Dub and force him/her to watch it they would just ignore it. This is God's Organization after all! They are too good for criticism, therefore they dismiss it.
What's more important here is that it should be placed at a timeslot where people can actually see it. I'm in South Africa, and would appreciate a copy by VHS/VCD or maybe I could download it? I hope somebody will DIVX it for me so I can grab it off the net...maybe we should look into this. I don't have enough FTP space to give out ATM, so someone else will have to provide that. Let's see, for a 1 hour long video, 640x480, mono sound...it'll be pretty big, at least a coupla hundred megs.

Bill Bowen, I highly respect and admire your work. Not enough men possess the courage to discard self-perceived authority as an Elder in the JW Congregation to stand up and fight against what they know is morally wrong.
That aside, I would like some concrete facts on when this Dateline is supposed to air. Ever since I joined this website there has been speculation compounded upon more speculation.
I would love nothing more than to tape a Dateline discussing this very matter, and to show it to several of my associates here in Chicago and have it put on the Internet or mass marketed so the message is indeed heard by the general public, especially with the Catholic priest scandal garnering attention and talk around the water cooler in the morning at the office.
Nothing like bad PR for the JDumbs, and yes I insult them, for they broke up my family, wasted the first 20 years of my life, and caused more heartache and anguish than any lone criminal in any penitentiary in the world could conceivably commit.
Just my 2c, but Bill seriously, give us some tangible, solid info ASAP.

What a great effort for people you don't know - many who you'll never know. I don't think the rank & file jw will see much of it - but Dateline's watched by many *worldly* people - and perhaps they'll think before inviting in the smiling jw's next time.
That would be the accomplishment! And another would be for the WTBTS to be forced to change their policies - 'cause they aren't changing them by the "grace of God," now are they?
I'll look forward to taping this one.

ps: I agree, who would name their infant son "Stone?" Perhaps a family name? Perhaps the parents "partook" while he was being conceived? One wonders these things, eh?
