JWs have programmed responses. They do not 'feel', they 'react'.
Politics? It's not just exJWs who don't think. Most of what I see online during US election 'season' is knee-jerk reactions to sound bites. The people on this DB are no different than everyone else. Don't blame the Tower because Americans don't know what's going on in the world. The insulation from the realities of world affairs is nation-wide.
"Who cares about the rest of the world? WE are the greatest! WE are the most powerful, and have no need to understand anyone else." Xenophobic arrogance will be one of the causes of the downfall of the US of A. The only people in the world who take pride in their ignorance. And I am quoting one of my American (that is US of America) friends when I say that.
