Chose death?!! Who in their right minds would choose death?
Many apostates have said that if they had to live forever with Jehovah's Witnesses then they would rather die. That indicates that you have made a choice in your heart. The luxury you have at the moment is that you aren't confronted with life and death decisions. However, during the tribulation all of that will change. Jehovah will force the issue so that everyone will be forced to decide if they will live by faith in Jehovah or whether they will support human efforts to perpetuate a dying system of things. Most will make the wrong choice because of not knowing, but in the case of apostates it will simply be that they prefer death to bending their knee to the God of Jehovah's Witnesses. This scripture bears that out: "But the one missing me (wisdom personified) is doing violence to his soul; all those intensely hating me are the ones that do love death.
Why should it? Look, this is not some puny America versus Russia conflict where the sides are roughly comparable, this is Jehovah God we are talking about. A God so powerful he could cause Satan and his followers to disappear in a puff of smoke in a millisecond. Why the need for all this drama, which will cause immense unnecessary suffering?
People have come to love the Devil's world. So when the time comes for the god of this world to get the axe why then should Jehovah intervenve to save you from also paying the price for your stupidity and wickedness in following the Devil? / You Know

Not me sunshine. I ain't proud, if JWs turn out to be right then count me in. Just imagine, no more wars, pain, death etc. That would be great! Who can compete with that?
I wish, with all my heart, that they, and you, are right about a paradise being just around the corner(but I don't like the tribulation bit, too nasty and unnecessary!)
How do we regard an individual who loses patience with what he/she created, smashing it to smithereens when it disappoints?
How daunting is it for an omniscient, all-powerful God to devise a way of reprieving millions of innocent children from a death sentence while retaing His commitment for justice and self-sacrificing love?

So, let me get this straight. You think God ought to simply wave his wand and whisk you away to paradise so you can carry on there? And you called Jehovah's Witnesses stupid? LOL / You Know
You've been reading too many Harry Potter books You Know.
whisk you away to paradise so you can carry on there?
I don't think it's nice to imply that I'm stupid, however...carry on what? My life as it is now? Of course I'm not that stupid, if paradise 'happened' I would expect to change in accord to God's will. It's just that your way of thinking about things implies a God that is totally without empathy. Why can't we have a loving God, who really cares about us as individuals? Your God is vindictive, uncaring and malicious.
Jehovah didn't create this world. Where did you get such a ridiculous notion? / You Know
Are you being pedantic, meaning that Jesus created the world, or do you mean that the world is Satan's creation?
You've been reading too many Harry Potter books You Know.
Apparently you have. That is the distillation of your thoughts, not mine.
I don't think it's nice to imply that I'm stupid
You said: "Look, you stupid publishers..."
I pointed out that you don't know what you are talking about. So you really are the stupid one here. Why is it that apostates can dish it out but they can't take it when it gets shoveled back at you? / You Know
Questions my parents could never answer: 1. What about faithful children with unfaithful parents? The Watchtower clearly states that there will be to many children versus adults for the children to be resurrected. After all children can't raise themselves.
2. What about marriage? If your spouse doesn't make it, can you mourn them, or does god just automatically take away your love for them? No thank you. I don't want anyone to wipe out the love I have for my husband.
3. What about the children? What is the magic age? Is it 18? If you are over 18, you might get resurrected? Because if your older than that, no one will be available to take care of you.
Just a few things I never could come to terms with...
Quite right, I shouldn't have said that. I apologise - emotions sometimes makes you say things you regret. However, in my defence, I wasn't being personal, you were.

Aw come on You Know, that was an attempt to inject a little humour...Jeez. Besides which, why did you respond to Room 215:

when he didn't even mention the 'world'. Was that a distillation of your thoughts?

Room 215 said: "How do we regard an individual who loses patience with what he/she created, smashing it to smithereens when it disappoints? The poster definitely implied that God created this world. That's simply not true, "because everything in the world---does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever." / You Know
