For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son…For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him.

It sounds to me like the Society is not doing the will of God but the will of Satan. And like Satan, rather than showing love, they want to see all of mankind destroyed. Wasn't it Satan who said to Eve, you positively will not die???? What a lie that was. Sounds like WT Organization is creating the same spin. Since everything the WT says keeps changing anyway, one lie after another they must be acting out like their father, the Devil, because the "truth" is not in them. I guess when false religion is the first to go, WT will be right up there in the front.

This teaching dishonors Jehovah that most of the world will perish at
Armageddon! What about " if Moses came back from the dead you still would not believe". and "it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gmmorah than for you in the ressurection" to the religious leaders.
Jehovah is certainly not some ogre but deserves the adulation of all of us as the supreme soveriegn and every person will have that chance has ever lived on this earth to take a stand on the side of truth. They will see he's Almighty power and there will be no question. Remember the only sin is not believing.

That's because you are an apostate. Remember, apostate Jews accused Christ of being in league with the Devil, and Jesus clearly warned his followers that if they did that to the Master then the slaves wouldn't fair any better. You have the same twisted sort of thinking, obviously.

That was my point, that apostates have chosen death rather than to accept Jehovah's provision. And because of sheer perversity, you accuse Jehovah of being a bully and murderer if he dares to carry out his judgments. Truly accursed children is what you are. / You Know

I am glad that you are concerned with honoring the name of Jehovah. However, what brings God the greatest dishonor is allowing this world to exist at all. It really has no right to exist and does so only because Jehovah is very patient. The battle of Armageddon will in fact bring Jehovah praise as One who acts in the interest of those who love him. By the time the battle of Armageddon takes place it will be apparent that those who don't live by God's spirit are treacherous and dangerous and are a threat to the well-being of peace-loving people. When Jehovah rids the world of the demon overlords, apostates, and all of his enemies, it will be the most loving thing he has ever done in behalf of his people. / You Know

Loved the post. It has taken me some time to realize it, but take a word of advice for dealing with YouKnow, which is: Dont feed the trolls, and they just fade away.

Ive often wondered why the Witnesses browbeat into the rank and file the Scripture 1st John 4:8 and that "God is love" and that we should imitate Jesus in being "forgiving", yet they implement practices and titles such as publicly "marking" individuals, public or private reproof, disassociation, and disfellowshippment, which in effect includes shunning with the very purpose of shaming. This is undoubtedly less loving and forgiving than what "worldly" people and "false religion" actively practice.

On another note, ever read in the Bible how one of the Ten Commandments is "Thou shalt not kill" yet our loving Heavenly Father smites people left and right? Slaughtering an entire planet minus one family according to the account of Noah, not withstanding countless other passages where in battle he is praised as the "God of Victory" who destroyed entire armies and encampments (first example that comes to mind is the one angel who overnight slaughtered 180,000 or so I believe)

Boy, if we are supposed to follow his example, I guess we should all look for the evil in our fellow man and strike them down without mercy.

Alas, if you read some of the Watchtower literature, they WISH they COULD stone to death those who disagree or leave the Organization. Yet, for PR purposes, they publicly states those whove left their faith are NOT shunned.

I wanted to avoid this if at all possible, but this was too obvious to not mention.

Careful YouKnow, your not applying Bible principle. After all, compare Matthew 7:1 and youll find it is NOT your place to judge another individual. Your own leaders have publicly stated at

    [QUOTE]
[bold mine to emphasize keypoints for YouKnow to apply as a true Christian]

Do you believe that you are the only ones who will be saved?
No. Many millions who have lived in centuries past and who were not Jehovah's Witnesses will come back in a resurrection and have an opportunity for life. Many now living may yet take a stand for truth and righteousness before God's time of judgment, and they will gain salvation. Moreover, Jesus said that we should not be judging one another. Humans look at the outward appearance; God looks at the heart. He sees accurately and judges mercifully. God has committed judgment into Jesus' hands, not ours. —Matthew 7:1-5; John 5:22, 27.

Perhaps the individual's statement was his or her own opinion based off their life experience. After all, there are imperfect people even in Jehovah's Organization, and he or she could've been wronged. Nevertheless, a reason does not matter. It is not your place to label someone an "apostate" and it surely is not your place to condemn them to a "twisted kind of thinking" simply because he or she disagrees with you. I would expect since you are a self-admitted active Witness you would show more love for your fellow man. I guess I was mistaken.

YouKnow: I'm sure you've read the article that somebody here put up about life after Armageddon.

Do you want to live in a Paradise on Earth which you can never, ever escape from?

Oh, but wait, "God will wipe away their tears". Translation: You will be turned into an emotionless drone. There is nothing that can ever heal the pain of losing a close relative, and I know this for a fact. To say that God will do otherwise is an obvious embellishment of the fact that his loyal servants will just be turned into unfeeling drones (which most of them are anyway...there's no other to shun people).

It's just so unrealistic it's not even funny. Besides, thanks to the GB, these teachings will soon be replaced with some other, less acidic, slightly more believable "New Light". Therefore even arguing about this stuff is a waste of bandwidth.

    Edited for formatting!
