RIP Eric! He is not the first ex-JW I've known to select his own exit time. It feels really bad and I hate the WTBTS for what it has done to Eric and his family, as well as my family and millions of people around the world.
The Watchtower is a cancerous tumor that needs to be removed from society.
This is absolutely heartbreakingly tragic.

I am sitting here in tears. So very sad, such a great personality and lovely guy.
Condolences to all who knew and cared for him.
I am so saddened he was one of the bright lights I looked for and to know the depth of his pain is so upsetting. We all hope for a brighter happier life on the other side, he was a person who helped me find mine so his loss is great indeed.
I'm still reeling from this.
It would be nice to know what the funeral arrangements are so we have some way of observing the ceremony in our own personal way when it happens.
