God used "imperfect men" to write the Bible didnt he? So then is the Bible flawed? You cant have it both ways. If an organization claimed to be directed by God and that God himself is the editor in chief of the watchtower and those words flow from God to the magazines... and it is impossible for God to lie then if his words get misconstrued or written incorrectly its because he allowed that to happen so that later they can write something else and claim its New Light and current understanding because they what...heard it wrong the first time or God withheld vital information or perhaps they were too dimwitted for the job? Really?
As soon as things go amuck its because the men are imperfect who wrote this shit down from their own understanding to begin with and not because God had anything whatsoever to do with all their false prophecies, and pharisaical controlling rules, regs and mind control. But as long as the sheeple buy the "light getting brighter" pile o crap, they can lie and mislead and false prophesy allllll they want to and blame God.

Enjoy your christian fellowship and help from the elders while you still can. Apostates are not going to lead you anywhere but out of the organization and into dried, muddied, waters. The organization has many flaws, but don't allow yourself to be mislead out of it so easily.

As soon as I woke up to just the basic flaws of the WT/JW set up, I determined not to let anyone lead me anywhere apart from to sources of information I had not had access to or knowledge of. I would then assess the truthfulness or otherwise of that information.
My Critical Thinking skills were beginning to flourish. My Bulls**t Meter began to work over-time.
But, nobody led me, "Do not put your trust in Nobles, nor in the son of earthling man" (Ps146v3) became my watchword.
Where would "Recovery" like to lead us ? Back to rolling in the mire.
Yes, the waters are muddied out here away from the W.T, but the waters dispensed by the W.T are pure sewage.
Just two words from the thread title stand out to me with regard to W.T teachings: "nothing.....fits".

My reply:
Christian fellowship? Why? Because they proclaim themselves to be the only true Christians? Being led out of the organization? The history of the organization shows that even IF God operated solely thru an organization (and this is a totally baseless assertion that he does), it certainly would not be the one that follows the teachings of the governing body. Their less than desireable track record, chock full of false prophecies, ridiculous teachings, and scandals makes that clear.

beat this Kimbo, I've had much as zilch in regards in regards to shepherding calls in almost 20 years of being out, I live less then 8 miles from my old KH, the territory I live in has a KH about 300 yards away from my house, zealous aren't they?

HE IS RIGHT, SO many are tied to 1914 and if 1914 is false, all others are false, and well, they are false. If you open his eyes to 1914, then all those others tied to it he will realize are also false.
