We watched this live on the internet today . Simply amazing . My son and I were on the edge of our seats ....I was in mom mode saying " It's okay ,your going to be okay " as my son laughs at me and says "He can't hear you Mom !" ... Could not believe his landing was so smooth . I am still in wonder of it all .

I was fascinated by watching his mom as he jumped. Her face and reactions ran the course of apprehension and fear, then relief as his chute opened up, then tears of joy when he landed.

Great footage. I see they were using choppers to film down lower, and they had some cameras on the capsule. I wonder what they used for the long in between fall. They seemed to have filmed the whole descent.
