He should have listened to this song on his way down.
At only 4 minutes 9 seconds long he could have listened to it beginning to end with 10 seconds to spare before pulling his parachute chord.

Yes, I watched this live yesterday. The check list part was probably where I felt a little "queezy", then towards the end of the check list, with him just about to jump, gave me goose bumps. I was completely amazed, not something I would ever want to do. I prefer watching others do it. :)

Please, can someone help me with an answer? Baumgartner is reported to have hurted down toward Earth at more than 700 miles per hour and in about 4 minutes, 24 miles from above. My question is, given that immense speed, how was he able to realize that was right time to deploy the parachute before hitting the ground?
