Reminds me of a story told here last year about a couple elders calling on a DFed guy (former elder?), and "encouraging" him to pursue reinstatement with the possibility of elderly advancement in the near future afterwards.

I agree the cognitive dissonance must be increasing. There seems to be increasing polarisation between the die-hard loyalist Watchtower can do no wrong crowd v the dismayed, disillusioned, disaffected, resentful, bored shitless crowd.
