So are they saying that jw men don't "fall" for worldly women at work, have affairs and/or run off with them? I can think of one a year in this area. It was "I couldn't control myself" and "men have stronger sex drives than women and can't help it."

On the whole, males seem to have a more pronounced sexual drive. They are more easily aroused.

David, one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Spain, likewise found that the Scriptures helped him to overcome temptation. When he was 19 years old, an attractive young woman who worked in the same cleaning company suggested that they “have a good time together.” David rejected her advances and asked his supervisor for work in a different area so that the situation would not arise again. “I remembered the example of Joseph,” David said. “He rejected immorality and immediately got out of the way. I did the same.”—Genesis 39:10-12.

A young brother in an African land recalls that a female classmate boldly offered him sex in exchange for his help during a mathematics test. “I immediately rejected her offer,” he says. “By maintaining integrity, I have kept my dignity and self-respect, which are far more valuable than gold and silver.”

Consider the case of André, a Christian elder, father, and medical doctor in Europe. When André was on all-night duty in the hospital, female colleagues repeatedly pinned notes—decorated with hearts—to his pillow, inviting him to have sexual relations with them. André steadfastly refused to entertain their advances. Moreover, to remove himself from the bad environment, he found work elsewhere. Fearing God proved to be very wise and led to blessings, for today André serves part-time at the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses in his country.

Sometimes the workplace is also a source of moral pressures. Exposure to daily doses of degrading talk is one common complaint of working women. Worse yet, some find themselves the victims of unrelenting sexual harassment. “When I first started working,” recalls one Christian woman, “I was the only girl in the office. The men would make suggestive remarks, and it was really hard for me.”
*** w09 5/15 p. 12 par. 14 Press On to Maturity—“The Great Day of Jehovah Is Near” ***For example, a brother named James, who regularly read and deeply appreciated Scriptural publications, accepted a job where all his coworkers were women. “While many of these clearly showed a lack of moral sense,” says James, “one employee seemed to be of good character and showed interest in Bible truth. When we were alone in a production room, though, she began making sexual advances. I thought it was a joke but found it very hard to stop her. Right then I recalled an experience related in TheWatchtower regarding a brother who faced a similar temptation on his job. The article used the example of Joseph and Potiphar’s wife. I promptly pushed the girl away, and she ran out.” (Gen. 39:7-12) James was thankful that nothing further happened and that he maintained a good conscience.—1 Tim. 1:5.
