“I was going to go back through his posts and post why I think he's making things up, but then I remembered... I don't care. Fact is, he's said too many things that show he isnt who he says he is. The stories have either been made up or greatly inflated. If you read through his posts, the doctrines of JWs are wrong and the stories are too fantastic. There are too many things that don't add up.”
I read several of his entries and didn’t see anything particularly suggestive that he’s anything other than he portrays. But since you bring things up as you do:
1. Which doctrine has he presented less than accurate?
2. And, what person do you know that has never inflated a story at some point in their life?
“But Marvin, why should someone else go back through his posts to prove to YOU why he's a fraud? If you don't believe it, then you don't have to. If you suspect that we are being unfair here, why don't YOU go back through his posts and tell us why you don't think he's making his stories up?”
Christ Alone,
I don’t care a rat’s patootie whether an accuser proves his or her claim. Whether a stone-thrower wants to leave themselves looking like a fool is their business. I’m only asking for those who make assertions to carry the burden of making those assertions by proving it.
Otherwise, as a registered participant here I ask questions whenever and wherever I choose based solely on my own prerogative within forum guidelines. My preference would be for participants here to keep stupid condescension to themselves unless they can prove what they are saying is true. But that’s just me. Apparently you must feel otherwise.
Finally, and since you asked, it is not up to me to disprove what someone says unless I just feel like doing it. The commonly understood burden of proof would have those making assertion prove them true and not their listeners prove those assertions false. But by the looks of things, probably you don’t understand burden of proof as understood commonly, or formally for that matter.
