    most professional athletes are dopers

Nonsense. Sport is an agreement to be the fastest, strongest, most skillful while abiding by a set of agreed rules.

If you deliberately break those rules you are not doing sport anymore.

If people want to find out how fast or strong an athlete can be with drugs then that's a different game.

Cycling was rotten to the core for many years, the new generation is awesome and the best in the world are British.

As far as I know, he was tested to the extreme when he was racing. So now, do they have some new methods that find him in violation. If he passed by the rules then they should leave him alone. This does nothing but ruin the sport.

About 30+ eyewitnesses and accomplices I believe.

Agreed . . . and that will be his cycling legacy . . . the man who ruined a global sport.

So why didn't they find him in violation at the time?

starting over, i agree. its like smoking fake weed while its legal and then going back after it becomes illegal and charging him. if he was three steps ahead, i think its unfair to charge him now. btw, i am a cyclist. i have seen riders with thighs the size of my torso, you cant get that without dope. as i understand, he was transfusing himself with his own blood reserves to increse his oxygen uptake... increasing his stamina. if he passed, he passed. he deserves his wins.

He would have never snagged Cheryl Crow if not for cheating. F*@$ him! sorry theo, cheryl crow is not exactly a trophy. now if he were diddling gwen stephani, id be jealous.

Is transfusing your own oxygen rich blood really cheating? No drugs involved. I think it's been established that his heart is bigger than most, I doubt seriously that if I was transfused as a cyclist myself i could have done what he did.

well some "new drugs" were involved too. but his strategy was way ahead of doping rules. like i said, its like getting high on a substance that was not classified. i hold the doping agency responsible to be on top of things. if he found a legal technicality, he is legit. for example... i love winning but i hate needles. if he volenteered for a legal advantage, i hold the doping agency responsible for not doing their job keeping current. if they disqualify lance than the testing agency needs to be replaced. again, i am a cyclist so i am very passionate aout this subject.

He was evading drug tests, and he kept what he was doing secret, so he knew damn well it was wrong.
