This is such a sad story. Your thoughts have moved me to tears, reminding me of how lonely one can feel when they lose such a large part of their world.
I am grateful to have this place to read how others are coping.
I also add my support to your decesion to go to the funeral. This is an honerable act of love.
This is excellent. Please give the love and good wishes of everyone here. Letting his family know that there are people who understand and who sympathize with Robert's plight will be encouraging, I'm sure.

Your words tug at the heart strings. Mr. Moe and and other's have expressed the utter wounding of the soul...DISFELLOWSHIPING is criminal and insane!
It is in fact understandable, to those of us who experienced the loss of all friends and family, how someone like Bryant could in fact be so low in spirit, to take his life and those of his family.
What a legacy this 'beast' of an organization leaves behind it slithery foot prints. For over 120 years callously ruining untold millions of lives, with it's man-inspired doctrines and rules. I for one have zero tolerance for the whole bunch (jw's).
You have a huge heart my friend. Iam proud to call you a friend.
