this stuff had a big promotion in oz a few years ago...

special marketing booths in all the shopping centres extolling the value of emu oil.

now the stuff is in the rmainder shops - marked down to about 20% of the original price.

Is Vioxxin the recoxificslavbib-stuff? When I had a back injury a few years ago I used Vioxxin. Worked like a charm!

Is that something that can be safely taken with anti-depressents?

    Plm:

My mother and I purchased Super Blue Stuff. She is elderly and has arthritis. It helps her more than me. I do, however, get some relief for my tennis elbow. Most of my pain is muscle-related and not arthritis-related. Relief is temporary.

Super Blue Stuff contains MSM ("methylsulfonylmethane") which is a dietary supplement and non-toxic form of active sulphur. This is actually the anti-inflammatory pain reliever found in Super Blue Stuff. If you are interested in following a more natural approach rather than prescription medications, you may want to research MSM and consider starting this supplement. My mother and I both take 1,000 mg 2x a day. As all naturals, give it time to work. See the following link: http://www.intohealth.com/what_is_msm.html

Emu Oil is a very good penetrating oil and is excellent to use on your face if you have dry skin (add it to your current moisturizer) or www.bluestuff.com also has facial creams for sale as Peach Stuff and White Stuff (comical isn’t it!). They are excellent. You will get free samples when you order the Super Blue Stuff.

Hope this has been healthful. (The Emu really is a very fascinating bird...ugly...but fascinating).

    Plm,

I'd recommend asking your doctor about combining different meds. Certain Anti-depressants require that your levels are correct by frequent bloodwork, and I don't know how anti-depressants could affect the results.

However, if you're interested in trying a topical pain relief creme for Osteoarthritis pain (or if anyone has neuralgia) you may find it worth your while to buy a $10 tube of Capzasin.

Please report back and tell us how the stuff works if you decide to try it.

both vioxx and naproxyn are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). You need to be careful with these if you're taking SSRI-type antidepressants (prozac, zoloft, paxil, luvox, celexa to name a few) because they increase the risk for diminished blood clotting capabilities, which means if you get a cut, you might bleed longer, or you may find that you bruise more easily. Check with your doctor first, ok?

    Lisa and PLM,

The advantages with Capzasin is that it is less expensive, and it is available at your local drugstore.

That stuff can give you a burning sensation at the point of application that can even last into the next day!! And sometimes it doesn't have that effect at all. Strange how it works differently, maybe depending on how sensitive the area of application is.

    plmkrzy,

I was going to comment about the mis-spelling of Australia, but on second thoughts you wrote it the way we say it, so no complaints from me.
