Do you have JW employees in your business? I did. Some were okay. Some were terrible. After a bad incident, a couple elders tried to "counsel" me about my handling of the matter... and they admitted that they would NEVER hire other JWs.

You know, you got to do what works for you. You and your wife handle the matter that makes sense. Sounds like you got that figured out. You and your wife sound more than capable of instilling good sound morals in your children and don't need that relgion or any other to do that. Keep staying away and keep thinking for yourselves.

@ fatfreek. Thank you for the link. I will check it out. Not alot that is new, but I welcome new ways of thinking and approaching things while I am still attempting to figure things out.

@honeybucket. Thank you for sharing. Honestly, teaching two diametrically opposed things at two different times isn't what did it for me. What did it for me, is the threat of disfellowshipping if one knew you held a firm stance on the contrary. You wouldn't even need to be "starting a sect" so to speak. Maybe that is something to address with your husband, more than the teaching itself that changed. I find that personally to be a dead end.

@billy. Everyone here is a JW, and one is a former JW who was raised in. Many of our field personel, are not JW's.
