Some folks do it before Thanksgiving. It's whenever you want to do it.

I put mine up the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and I mean put it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More lights than any other tree on the block, I do it in the morning, start before Mr. goes to his meeting. By the time he gets back to the house it up and stay up until after the first of the year. Love it.

My plant manager used to put his decorated tree into a big refrigerator box so that he could take it out the next year and have it already decorated.
For some reason, every woman I knew found this to be disgusting.

No freezer - but he bought a new refrigerator and noticed it was just the right size.
He was very proud of this idea - he never had to trim the tree or take it down.
Did you notice that there is something vaguely Wibble about this thread, Nancy?
