Richard Dawkins had a JW at his door...

I feel taking a child in field service is a form of child abuse. Hopefully, Dawkins had pity on the child. and man. They so believe their lies, too. My parents made me go. I had to give the whatever that I memorized so hard. If anyone ever interrupted me, I would have lost my place. When I think back on it, some of the neighbors were quite rude to me. It was not my choice to bother them. Cartoons on TV would have been much more fun. They would say "I am Lutheran" etc. as though JWs were the lowest religion in the world. Blame the parents, folks. Do you think it is a kid's idea of fun. Also, that kid would have been traumatized if Dawkins engaged his father.

Do you really think Witnesses know who Dawkins is?

    Aaaaarrrrrggghhh....

I really, really wish that Dawkins had engaged the adult JW. I had several experiences as a child while in "service", where people at the door effectively countered the JW's blather - that helped me get the heck out of the cult later on.

NEVER think that remaining silent about the errors of the JWs is being "kind" to a child...

Please click on my thread linked above, and read what the young teenaged girl's reactions were...

Hey . . . it's bloody hard work. Maybe he was just tired and half way through a cold beer. He's only human . . . and beyond his front gate is a largely hostile world.

A man's home is his castle . . . and yet he still feels a sense of obligation to 2 total strangers standing uninvited on his own doorstep. I credit him for that alone.

    Good thought, Sizemik

Actually it would be unusual these days if the dub would be prepared to get into a deep discussion. It is mostly a question of a " May I leave you these two magazines".....presentation.

Even if they were clued up, if they knew it was Dawkins they are often told not to waste Jehovah's time with obvious opposers, but look for sheeplike ones.

Dawkins has helped open the door to free thinking for 7 billion people - he has no need for guilt over the 2, but he does.

So-called'Christian' values at work? An atheist with morality?
