Anybody else similarily immature like me and break stuff occasionally when angry?

  I'm currently without a cellphone after reading a text message that made me play twist and internally shout with my cell phone. Been a while since I did something this retarded but it did feel good and natural at the time. I went to BestBuy for a new phone and decided I dont want to talk with anyone right now anyway. So I'll probably get a new phone later this week, possibly tomorrow.

  You ever break shit out of anger? If so, whats the most expensive item you obliterated out of angst filled immaturity?

  I broke a desktop phone years ago, and they're "indestructible." I'm mature now so I don't break stuff anymore . . .

  If we deny those smaller aggressive tendencies within us, they will build and manifest in more bizarre, dangerous and perverted ways. Perhaps this is what's happened to you. I know it's the case with other things such as sexuality, when repressed breeds perversion.

  You ever break shit out of anger?

  No. If this is something you do regularly, please seek help. My ex-husband suffers from rage and did this all the time. It is classified as symbolic violence when used in a relationship. It was part of what destroyed our marriage. His counsellor told him he needed Rage Counselling. He never went. He still suffers from this.

  This is usually cured by two things: (in no particular order) -

  1) - getting old.

  2) - having stuff that is too nice to break.

  Yes! My wife is like that! She slams doors constantly, nearly knocking them out of their jambs and disturbing the whole neighborhood. She just gets more mad if I say anything about it.

  yeah, when i would get drunk. I don't get drunk anymore. I went through 3 phones, punched 2 holes in walls and one hole in a door. Its been more than 2.5 years since this was a problem however .

  Do yourself a favor. Get out of the Borg! You'll be LESS stressed, LESS anxious, get BETTER sleep, have REAL relationships with people, and probably be LESS angry.
