wha happened? I think that if a dub has ever heard of a University in the US that would be Harvard. I don't see Ethos being resourful enough to know all the colleges of this board.

"Does life exist after Harvard" ask generations of Harvard grads. I know many Harvard and Harvard Law grads. All ask the same question. There is no life aisde from Harvard for the rest of your life.

The letter is so lame. The Harvard admissions committee made a huge mistake. No one applying to Harvard would ever write such a letter.

I graduated from Columbia. Liar. Liar. How many Columbia students would rather attend Harvard? With the exception of the NY ballerina crowd, all.

I attended Columbia soon after the 1968 riots by students and police. We were part of an int'l student movement. The Sorbonne and other ancient universities were on strike that year. The administration responded by recruting deferential Yeshiva and Roman Catholic students. The profs were appalled. Memorizing facts is not valued. Questioning said facts and assumpions is highly regarded.

No prof at any creditable school wants near high school answers. If a Columbia prof gave someone a poor grade based on belief alone, well, you aren't there to parrot your belief. If you analyzed the text, showed rigorous thinking, and still did not agree with the prof, you would most likely be admired by said prof.

Several private conversations with profs proved this was the case. High school is for memorization. The purpose of college is to think, not memorize.

If you are a jw, you have no business applying to any college. You wasted a semester of Harvard What an unpardonable sin. Your classmates came to interact with you, not the Wt. Shame on you.

As you are further torn apart by literally everyone on this thread, remember this: when you leave a university, you can still have a relationship with your family and friends.

Do they practice mind control at university? Not that I am aware of. EVERY meeting, ASSembly, and piece of WT garbage literature is brainwashing material. Every one. Don't believe me? Perhaps you should "study" it a bit.

Very impressive. What did you think of the Harvard ambience? Did you find arrogant students? I have not in all honesty. Harvard has a Jewish presence that is not as large as Yale or Princeton, which may be why it is ranked 1.

In reality, I found about all the Ivy and comp students to be comparable. Harvard has that extra cachet.

Satanus I have heard the claim that the JWs get the best education in the world.

I seen some articles(very few) like Kepler's Three Laws of Planetary Motion and another article on Micro-Biology.

The first time I read the article on biology I was like 13. I didn't understand much of it. After I took micro-Biology in High School and re-read the article I was able to understand all the details.

Kepler's Laws I had already study at college so I though it was wonderful that they would show that to brothers but I wonder how many would be able to follow it. So there might be some nice articles here and there but they don't care if their r&f doen't understand or cannot follow them. In fact is better if they cannot follow them, look at the last two articles of 607 most JWs will get lost in those articles.
