  That is a very revealing quote.

  First, it is a lie, since Franz discusses that only a 2/3 majority needs to agree for a new policy to take effect. See a copy of the page at "two third majority." That is why the doctrine can move back and forth so much.

  Second, if Holy Spirit directs the Governing Body as a group, why are the not always in agreement? Obviously their ideas are just the whims of men.

  This meeting has been beaten to death, but I can't help but think about it again. They did SIX TALKS about the meaning of Matthew 24:45-47? SIX TALKS? I mean, what? It's only three verses, man. But you need six talks to explain what they mean?

  How many times a JW's were we told, " Explaining your beliefs to others helps you understand them as well." Maybe the GB are trying to convince themselves that they have the truth, just like every other apologist? They are on the ropes, the meeting was a pep-rally. When you combine the Annual meeting with the tightening of control, and crazy talks at Conventions about apostasy, not talking to DF'd family, the forbidden study of Hebrew and Greek, it becaomes cleat that they are desperate to keep control. It's prety clear if you are of the conscious class.

  I still don't know if the GB actually believe what they say, or are just corrupt Church leaders. The Organization has become it's own entity that will do anything to survive, including eating it's own children.
