I found it interesting towards the end when David Splane said: "And brothers, we LOVE this teaching. We LOVE this idea, because it really truly does dignify the members of the Great Crowd." Surely it's irrelevant whether Splane "loves" the idea or not?! Surely the truth is the truth regardless of whether it is "loved" or not, and any personal feelings of warmth towards it are irrelevant?!
Imagine Isaac Newton explaining gravity to his students: "And students, I really do LOVE gravity. I LOVE this idea, because it really truly does dignify the planet Earth, and how great its gravitational pull is." Imagine him saying it after being hurled off a cliff... but I digress.
I also found it funny how they opened the video with the brothers putting the letters on the front of the Stanley Theater to advertize the Annual Meeting. Firstly, what's the point in advertizing the Annual Meeting when only selected delegates are allowed to attend? Does this mean anyone off the street could have walked in and got a seat? I doubt it. Secondly, why the need to wear protective glasses when putting up massive huge plastic letters? Are those brothers really clumsy enough to be hospitalized by eye injuries inflicted by stray plastic letters? Do they envision the need to have a giant letter "A" surgically removed from their eye socket if things go bad? It seems a bit extreme, but maybe it's just me.
