  Aaaaw .... and little children were singing a Kingdom song. Children are useful vehicles of exploitation in religious environments too.

  Part of the believing aspect of being a JWS is believing they are not being manipulated and exploited by the

  And the old guy at the end "it was marvelous, just marvelous. And not to be missed" well not to be missed by those priveleged enough to be able to attend. Just think of the waste of funds for ones to attend this from basically world wide regions.

  cedars, I found it interesting also, but for a different reason. He carefully worded his statment to dignify the Great Crowd but made no mention of how the other anointed ones were demoted to a lower rank. As I understand the "new light" the other anointed are no longer a part of the FDS class. I wonder how they will react to the new light? Now, being of the anointed class means nothing. They are just domestics like the great crowd.

  I wonder if this new proclamation has come out because of the recent realization that the anointed class is growing each year ?

  OOPS ... better do something about that !

  With the inclusion the GB saying many people who are partaking now days have mental issues.

  So why not desecrate this group (class) as a lower level of significance ?

  It heightens relevance and importance toward the GB members themselves !

  Now thats what I call meat in due season !

  After raving about this and how know we know "who is in charge", I basically had enough. I told him Christ is in charge for 2000 years and to say anything otherwise is idolatry. My father then gave me the loyaty question, "Who is the faithful slave?" I told him, "Had somebody asked you this a week ago, you would have said, 'The body of annointed on earth at any given time' but you would have been wrong. If the Governing Body was appointed the Slave in 1919, how is it they are just finding out in 2012?"

  And really, how can the Faithful Slave not know who the Faithful Slave is? The apostles knew they were apostles. The prophets knew they were prophets. Jesus knew he was the Christ.

  It's an amazing maneuver of self-promotion. I am wondering if the real aim is to erase the wall between the "Annointed" and the "Great Crowd", so they can do away with the literal 144000 doctrine.

  Would not surprise me in the near future new light arose that the 144,000 are a literal number, but of members of the governing body. That way they prepare the ground for the WT to continue dominating the JW's for centuries.

  They must have an self-identification problem. They are who they have to be an any given time. The identity problem is resolved with new light.

  Now, that new light would blow me away, but I would not be surprised to see them do it. How do you think that would benefit their status?

  Because the number of partakers keep going up. And in Revelation, the Great Crowd are IN the temple performing Sacred service. That makes them part of the royal "priesthood". Also when Jesus mentioned Other Sheep, he is clearly talking about the Gentiles, not those 2000 years in the future who would profess an earthly hope. It's a flimsily interpretation built on a house of cards.

  Oh, and if everyone is either Governing Body or a Domestic, it elevates the Governing Body from those "anointed" who might try to usurp them.
