  This cult who thought at some point that all of them were going to go to heaven realized that their numbers were growing therefore they had to create another group to explain the delay on their own rapture and their predicted end of the world.

  They then created a separation of categories... the originals, the old ones, in other words the anointed, a selected groups that you cant be part of because only 144,000 are selected, so they had to come up with all sort of excuses why the end was not coming. So many explanations to Jesus words.

  They were buying time, the end had to come at any moment, 1941... 1975... before the end of the century.... but at the last moment this cultish doctrine back fired on them... the number of the originals kept growing... these "divinely" (self) appointed group who wrote countless letter of bible interpretation to Gods headquarters kept increasing. Many of the Great Crowd would approach any member of the Anointed one for Bible counsel and help.... they would skip the Elders and the Central brain and would go directly to these...

  But the number of the Kings instead of declining continued to grow.... they became a problem that the Real Rulers of the cult had no idea of to take care of. So they started a campaign of libel against the very same members of the once ruling Anointed class.. They claimed insanity of the majority of the new ones... by putting it in writting they created doubt within the Great Crowd.

  How could they now approac an anointed one... how could they tell who is real and who is mentaly imbalanced.... Doubt took control... and once there is doubt now they can asest the last blow on the Anointed problem by removing their FDS status from them... By keeping the FDS status they gain control of the crowd... the great crowd... They put an end to the many letters from the anointed and their opinion... they also control the source of information... now there is no other source but from the GB and that is it.

  They got rid of their infamous 144,000 number and its increased growth. they got rid of the mathematical equation that would prove their doctrine insane.... they regained control of the emergency situation in which they find themselves in.

  They bought extra time to extend the end of the time of the end.

  and they critize Hitler!

  Oh, you're just bitter because you're not one of us! You're just one of those smelly Great Crowd riftraft that we're going to be ruling from Heaven. And buddy, we're going to have your name...and when we say jump, you're going to say, "How high, sir!" or we're going to be putting lightning bolts up where the sun never shines!

  So showing some respect would be in order! You're going to be on Earth with all those other smelly resurrected "Adamites" -- and you guys will be having your family reunions and your little cello lessons (you've seen the pictures) whilst we are going to be part of the A-List Q Continuum! And you will be ruled by us, and we will all be members of the faithful and discreet, but YOU will be the slaves. Don't worry, though. Our reeducation and reorientation centers will all be air conditioned.

  Until then, behave yourself. Remember, we can go through buildings and ceilings, see EVERYTHING, and switch from physical beings and back to spirits in the twinkling of an eye. Plus, we'll be able to make it rain or shine. But I promise we'll read your letters. We'll have plenty of time and, of course, will need the laughs!

  A very good summation Cyber, put in the blunt and concise way you have, it is so easy to see that those at the top, the majority of the G.B included, are just cynically trying to perpetuate their cash-cow, and therefore their comfortable, privileged lifestyle.

  It is patently obvious that the cadre at the top of, and in control of, the W.T do not believe any of it, they simply wish to control the R&F for their own ends.

  There is no other word for it, when you think of the lives they ruin , and worse, snuff out, that word is EVIL.

There is no other word for it, when you think of the lives they ruin , and worse, snuff out, that word is EVIL. excellent post, and I believe they lost the plot ages ago, and just want to keep their control by doing this they keep their easy life style while the rest of the slaves work their butt of to pay for their evil rules that brought on the millions of dollars having to be paid out to child sexual abuse victims and gag orders to silence them, from blowing the whistle, they have caused the suicides of other JW that have been mistreated, stumbled lost the only life they have known to be thrown out into the world ignored by the only friends and family they have ever know. Time will catch up to these evil men and their self appointed position. God is not one to be mocked.

  What makes you think this? I'm pretty cynical when it comes to the Governing Body, but they do so much rationalization that I think many of them do actually believe it. I suspect they've deceived themselves in many cases. One of the prerequisites of being in the Governing Body is that they're in the elite ruling class of spirits. But how do people know they're in the spirit class? They're told by the Holy Spirit, just like the ancient apostles. To critics, this is an example of self-deception because the idea that some people have spirits whilst others do not is an absurdity. The rationalization members of the Governing Body use is not that they received revelation calling them to their positions and sanctifying them therein, but rather, that they win through the process of elimination. They have the audacity to claim that in 1919, Jesus examined all the religions on Earth and chose the leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses to represent him!

  How could they know that without the spirit of prophecy and revelation?

  Well, they couldn't! But I suspect that at some level the members of the Governing Body buy into that stilted reasoning. If not us, who? they say. What other religion teaches our perfect doctrine? None. So we must be it!

  What a way to run a religion!

  Yep. I agree. CT Russel was wrong. He had a 100% failure rate. Rutherford had to buy time. " Why is the end not here?, Why weren't we raptured away. We are confused and getting older? The end should have been in our lifetime?". Rutherford moves in with the Heavenly hope ending and creates the Great Crowd, the perfect slave labor force. The cycle continues, failed prophecy and buying time. Tightening the reigns to perform damage control. Evil,Evil,Evil....
