    Ah... Well, considering that Christianity itself started out as a "cult" - perhaps more accurately, as a number of cults, I'd say the odds of the Watchtower Society going down are slim to nun... But 3that's not going to stop me from putting forth effort to get as many people out or dissuade as many people as possible from joining in the first place...

    I tend to agree with Yadda Yadda. You mentioned that cults don't stay around long. That may be true of more extreme cults. Yet both Mormons and JWs have now been around over a century. They are normal enough to have grown to large groups. Just like the SDA's, all they need to do is tweak things to become more normal and last even longer.

    This is interesting on the Seventh Day Adventists. Their leadership only boasts ongoing increase.

    There is some similarities to JWs. (JWs are about 15% in U.S. of worldwide)
