Very good writing skills. It's like reading a summary of CoC. That is the book that woke me up. I can understand why you haven't sent it but you never know it might wake some honest hearted elders up. There are plenty of elders on this site.

Esse quam videri
Who cares if it convinced the elder or anyone else for that matter?
The letter allowed the writer to gather their thoughts and preserve them in printed form. This is a good way to strengthen our own understanding of what we personally believe and hone our ability to explain them. This letter did the writer the most good and is something we should all consider doing, even if only addressing ourselves. The added benefit of posting to this forum is helping others to form, reform and strengthen their own beliefs. whether they agree or not. I think everyone should go through life believing strongly about something, but with a mind open enough to hear opposing arguments.

Nice letter but as some have mentioned , it is lengthy. We have to remember that we are dealing with people, that for the most part, have the attention span of a flea. Also witnesses are used to reading their simplified magazines and a long and complicated letter might put them off.
In the early days of my "awakening" , i wrote many letters. I didn't mail any of them but they were therapeutic.

MrFreeze: I don't know if I'm going to send it or not. This was more of a "for me" thing.
I wouldn't send it. It won't accomplish anything positive and will probably just unnecessarily complicate your life.
You say you enjoy writing. Why not turn your talent, skill and energy into something more productive.
That being said, I do have to admit that posting here has helped hone my writing skills.
Ironic, isn't it?
