I've got to look into it, but there is a neurologist who never believed in NDE's who has had one and has been in the news. Then there is Dr. Melvin Morse who writes about his and others' experiences with NDE's and death bed visions in the medical field.

It was very difficult for me to give up my belief in God. Since I don't believe Jehovah is going to destroy unbelievers anyway, what difference is there. There are times when I wish there was a loving god, but I can't believe in something that there is no evidence of. No loving god would do what the bible says he has done. I try to just live each day to the full and not think about it.

    Imagine there's no heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

    You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

    You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I can imagine it. I can imagine just about anything.

I would have to ignore all the evidence given to me regarding God and His Son in order to do that though.

As Cofty said earlier... his disbelief is not something he choose. It is where the evidence he has, led him.

My faith is not a choice either. It is where the evidence given to me, has led me. The CHOICE that I have... is whether or not to follow Christ and God. Not whether or not to believe in their existance.

    Peace to you,

    tammy

Faith + evidence in the same sentence = oxymoron

God is like a big teddy bear in the sky... but teddy bears & God have one thing in common- you grow out of them... eventually!

    To you, perhaps.

Not to someone who faith is based on evidence. Perhaps just not evidence that you are willing to accept as evidence, yourself.
