I was just wondering if this typo is in the US version also? It’s in the 1 May 2002 Watchtower p.31 on the far right block of text on the seventh line down:
“And members of the great crowd are not in the inner courtyard of Jehovah’s great spiritual temple, which courtyard represents the condition of prefect, righteous human sonship ot the members of Jehovah’s ‘holy priesthood’ while they are on earth.”
I know it’s just a small typo, but I have never seen a mistake like this before [to my memory] in the Watch Tower’s literature—has anyone else?
Also it shows the lack of proof reading going on at Bethel—does anyone actually check this material before it goes out to be printed to millions of readers? Or do the Governing Body just get a piece of paper put in front of them to sign that their nurse has to read out to them after she’s wiped their arses and spoon fed them lunch?
FYI, I remember, many moons ago, seeing 'Egypt' spelled 'Eygpt' in a WT; can't remember the issue, sadly - it might've been worth a bit, too though I do remember the shock of seeing a 'typo' occurring in literature from Jehovah's 'perfect' organisation, LOL... if I knew then what I know now - typos'd be the LEAST of my worries...

I noticed one in the April 1, 2002 Watchtower, page 4, 3rd paragraph of the article "Search for God with Your Heart and Mind":
To help others build such faith, early Christian evangelizers "reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving by references" the things taught. (Acts 17:1-3) Such a reasonable approach elicited a fine response from honesthearted ones.
I seem to remember them using the hyphenated form "honest-hearted" and even "honest hearted", but I've never seen it used as a compound word before.
Actually these are worse than typos, because "ot" and "Eygpt" are NOT English words - a spell checking program would have caught the errors.
I hope that along with the million-dollar drum scanners that the WTS has under plastic tarps because nobody in Bethel is qualified to operate it, they have invested a small bit of money in a SPELL CHECKER - and that somebody there knows how to use it.
