  Been many years since I've been inside a hideous KH. I posted my story on here a few years ago, and thought i would drop back in and say hi. I'm just curious, are people leaving in droves??? I would expect that to be the case. We haven't spoken to most of my wifes family in years due to them being disgusted with our inactivity. We're not DF'd, just extremely lucky we were able to fade away and eventually be left alone. Most of my JW family do not speak to us either, my Father being the exception.

  What shape is the Borg in??? Due to all the info that's available, i would think they would be in trouble big time.

  I personally have eight ex jw's in my family. Nice! Working on others, I assure you.

  Hi lonestar63 - They're very much still around, but the picture isn't as rosey for them as it once was.

  Growth is slowly deteriorating as follows...

  • 2009 - 3.2%
  • 2010 - 2.5%
  • 2011 - 2.4%
  • 2012 - 1.9% (not confirmed yet)

  I've written a couple of articles explaining why I think they've been in decline since 2005. You can check them out on this link.

  There's really no way of knowing how bad things are financially, but the signs aren't good. The Conti case certainly won't help if they lose the appeal.

  Thanks for that info!! That WT on 1914 was one of the things that led to my awakening, and started my fade. Our entire ministry in the 80's was based on 1914. I'm so fortunate that my wife decided to leave with me, despite her being born into "The Truth". I can't believe how much damage they have caused not only to my family, but to millions of families.

  Its easy to see that the Watchtower publishing house is now crumbling over on its own ( false) doctrines which it was originally built on.

  What we are seeing now in my opinion is the WTS. going through the beginning stages of a kind of Reformation,

  in an attempt by its hierarchal leaders to sustain this organization.

  they're definately past their prime, thanks to the internet. It's just to easy nowadays to fact check.
