The internet is throwing big punches now..... 2014 will come and go and I think this will leave many JW without a vague armageddon date in mind. I think this is significant. The millenium came and went, 9/11 didnt bring armageddon, the financial crisis is holding flat, once 2014 passes there are no more significant waits, no time frame to work towards.... No prophecy, no nothing... Think peopke will leave.

But ask a current JW the same question and their replies will be 180 o opposite. There vocabulary is different.

Changes; flop flops = New Lite

Branch closings; Congs merged = Streamlining

Increase in inactives, DFd, DAd = Sifting, cleansing

Declining increases = continued growth

Dramatic reduction in printing = progressive & inovative use of internet (jw.org)

Conti Case = Huh? [unknown]

Groveling for Money = [not mentioned]

Bailing out on Brooklyn Real Estate = Holy Spirit Directed move from depraved NYC

Pathetic new song book = Beautiful inspiring new Kingdom Melodies

Shunning loved ones = Loyalty to Jehovah Organization

They don't see it -- they are blinded by the proper food at the proper time [AKA propaganda].

It's like listening to the Democrats last month: "Everything is great. Everything is improving!"

After 2014......the WTS could lead the JW people on by just talking about how Noah preached for 120 years before the flood came and destroyed the wicked. Counting from 1914 that would buy them up through 2034.

What shape is the WTBTS in?

Well, maybe talking to the average JW during a casual setting who has had a glass of his favorite beverage would help answer that question. There is a reason for the old expression ‘In Wine There Is Truth!’

I have been to my share of JW gatherings where mixed drinks and wine were served. You’d be surprised at how many disgruntled JWs open up and reveal what is really in there heart after only a glass of wine.

An organization is only as strong as the true happiness and contentment of its supporters. I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that many/most JWs are struggling spiritually due to ‘Mother’ and how she is leading.
