What's The Main Reason You Do Not Believe That The Witnesses Are The Best Religion?

  Minimus:

  My main reason for walking away from the JW religion is what I found on the internet in the year 2000. What I learned confirmed my suspicions about them plus the U.N. scandal which really shocked me. But, before that, the 1995 changed teaching on Generation turned me off totally, I just hung around like a zombie for a few years more until I went online. Then it was over.

  Even if I had not found out what I did on the internet, I would have probably walked away because I was determined to stay on the "fringes" and limit my association so as not to be damaged by the religion or the people in it.

  I had no intention of being victimized by "users" who had single women or responsible working people in their sights, so it was hopeless. Even though I had a few friends, most of the people are phonies so it is no loss, really.

  Governing Body's : Greed, Lies, Self assuming, haughty, no natural affection. Putting themselves in place of Christ in the baptisim, songbook, and Watchtower. Dividing families, and making publishers and their children sacrifice over and over to them.

  Main Reason: They condone child abuse

  Secondary: They are against higher education

  Third: They're all screwed up.

  Plus, nearly everything is bad, but the Organization. It's "bad" if you're feeling like you don't want to go out in service or to a meeting or to do personal study.

  I hate the fact that they are a cult.

  The GB prefers protecting their Brand "WTBTS" more than protecting children who have been sexually abused by members of the congregation.

  The GB was in bed with the UN at the SAME LEVEL as the Churches that they condemn for doing so that being a NGO.

  Mine was doctrinal. The end wasn't really around the next corner and I was misled. But opening that can of worms made me way more aware of the things cult-training taught me not to notice. They really are creating unnecessary burdens like the Pharisees. They are actually unloving with putting productivity before caring about individuals or helping anyone. They take caring people and turn them into jerks-for-Jehovah's organization. They ruin lives with their blood and molester policies and they overreach into the personal lives of the members.

  I am a born in and hated every minute of being in the borg but was brainwashed to the point where I believed in it at the time, I was to the point in Feb. of 2011 where I had enough of the sh######t and decided that I wanted out, back then I didn't know that mentally I was in until coming across the book Crisis of Conscience online, after first 88 pages the whole deck of cards came crashing down all in one night, it took me about 8 months of looking at the watchtower at every possible angle and to totally clear my mind.

  The past 2 years has taught me so much about the real meaning of life, Christmas this year had so much more meaning then last year, to deal with the harsh shunning that my parents are putting me though theres several things I do, for one thing the holidays helps alot and also going out with friends, during Christmas I spent time at one of my co workers house, thats the other thing I have found out that helps is celebrating the holidays at friends house.
