The elders came to talk about my facebook comment

So, not long ago I've told you guys how one of my only two JW friends saw my comment against the borg and called me about it. Well, the little fraker also called the elders to tell on me. I know I've been a huge idiot for posting a comment about JW's on Facebook, but nonetheless I did it and what's happened, happened.

Two idiot elders came all the way from the nearest congo, 30 miles away to talk to me about it. The Facebook account is not in my name, but they had me with a few specifics, so I told them the account is mine but I've been logged in a lot of places and somebody else must have posted that comment because I sure as hell didn't. They didn't buy that, but what can they do since I wasn't going to admit it.

Anyway, I now see that my "friend" has also unfriended me on Facebook, LOL. The Mother Fraker (excuse the language). Damn is he overacting. All I said was that the JW's were a shitty, destructive cult. For a simple comment they had to travel 30 miles to interrogate me about it. Big Brother in action right there. I swear to Zeus, these mofos act like the secret police of a communist regime. After they left, I admitted to my family I was the one that posted that comment. I told my parents that I want to have nothing to do with religion, ANY religion, and I want to be left alone. My mother said "So, you lost any faith you had?" and I simply replied "Yes". My parents aren't even too mad at me. Funny how they're almost okay with what I've done. The elders started blabbing about my reputation in the congregation, how hard this will make things for me to find a nice JW girl to marry and crap like that. I could barely contain myself from bursting out in laughter.

When you see it from this side you get a real nice look at the cult underbelly... it's very ugly

The Elders will drive how ever far to hang you from the highest limb. This is how this cult rolls. Maybe your parents are having underlying doubts themselves. If so...good for you.

A nice JW girl to marry? I don't think there are any nice JW's anywhere! lol

    Rock on!!!!

Isn't it telling that they will drive 30 miles to "investigate" you for unfaithfulness but wont drive even a few miles to visit a friend and do the things a friend needs help with? There is no power in simply helping others. Judging is where the action is! Buffoons.

You guys are so right. Before this, they haven't visited us since October. So, they really don't give a crap about us, out here, all alone without a congo near. They don't actually care to see how we were for months on end, but they do care about a facebook comment. What a farce of a religion.

If you're still attending the meetings I can kind of understand their Gestapo tactics. But if you're not attending meetings why didn't you tell them to the "F" away from your house and their own business?

"All I said was that the JW's were a shitty, destructive cult."

Yea, I can see how that might ruffle some feathers.

Shirley, we don't really attend but my parents are still very much brainwashed by them. If I stopped being a JW, they'd stop talking to me, which would suck.
