20YEARFADER- Indeed it is a real problem with JW's having emotional problems or mental issues. Very sad situations occur like you mentioned. It could indeed be the case with this young woman, I just don't know- not enough information.
WHA HAPPENED ? - Very good point you make indeed. If her parents are JW's there is a big doubt that she's recieving any kind of professional counseling for depression or medication for her depression if that is what the situation is.
SIR 82- I thought it was kind of strange as well that she had to tell authorities that she's a JW. I mean what WAS she trying to accomplish by that ? Perhaps it was getting time in. LOL !
WASBLIND- Yeah, it could very well be that she is a JW who is a older child of Penecostal parents, my wife thought that too- but for some reason that scenario just seems strange to me that a devout JW would even be willing to LIVE in a same house with alleged " false religious " people, let alone allegedly " demonized " tongue waggers. Unless the girl is a minor under 18 and has no choice but to live with the parents. I don't know.
HORTENSIA- " Why didn't she call the elders " ? Good question. Instead of the police ? Yeah, I wondered that as well. Lots of mystery and intrigue here.
BILLY the EX-BETHELITE- Yeah, I guess the JW girl doesn't have time for being talked to in tongues , but ya never know she may pick up some tips from the unintelligible babble for the field service ! You know- good Bible Study ideas ! LOL ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
