I believe the father may be lurking here for the next while, and I hope he may participate when it is prudent for him to do so.
So should any not be in a position to send a card or note directly, adding any words of support to this thread or any of the other ones on this topic would likely be greatly appreciated by him.

Ah - I am about ready to pull out my hair .... I'm still on strike and can't get to my stuff to help you guys better.
This is real and not a fake.
I have talked to the father twice and I also gave him this and other sites. I can confirm he has your Emails and he also has lurked here. I know his name and his sad plight.
He asked me what to do about setting one of these funds up and I told him to contact Bill Bowen for setting up an organization. I am not sure if he did it with Bill's help or with the help of his employees where he works.

Just to let you folks know - this man has had to sell everything and he has lost all of his money to legal fees. Why? To ensure his Witness family and the Witnesses do not get the court to rule that his daughter (who is fighting luekemia) is old enough to refuse life saving blood transfusions.

I called the Dad this evening, but just got his answering machine. I left a hopefully discreet but supportive message (I hope). Maybe I shouldn't have left anything, but I was such a bundle of nerves that I kind of babbled. I just want him to know that people care.
I hope I did the right thing.
