I am falling into my old habit

When I studied JW stuff at first I coundn't get enought of it.
Then I got overloaded with the same old crap lost interest then got bored then started liking fluff.

    Then

Two years ago when I started to really question everything about the WTS I read everything I could find, did research, read Ray's book, studied the chonological data on 607 etc, etc, etc. Now I have lost interest in trying to prove them wrong. When I see a long winded post about the organization and what we can do to damage them Ijust can't read it.

I find I am now looking for fluff on the board and read only the fluff.

Is this a sign that I will be leaving this board in the near future.
I wonder. If my search for wisdom has peaked out and I am again becoming brain dead.

Anybody else going through this change?

I don't think it's a sign of anything. Everybody goes through changes, habits are meant to be broken, per se, people grow and expand their horizons, and discover new things, have new interests. My best advice to you, is to ride it out. Learn from it, enjoy it, if you can, oh, and tell me: What's your favorite perfume???

Are you experiencing earthquakes, famine, war etc. and at the same time? It can't be individual occurances, it has to happen at the same time..

I've reached the point where I've read it all before, Rekless. I'm like you, it just doesn't interest me any more. There are guys who are obsessed with devoted to bringing down the WBTS. More power to 'em, man. I'm glad they have the energy and resources; it's a dirty job but it needs doing.

Me... I'm concentrating on living a happy, full life in the here and now. Part of it involves interacting with posters on this board. But it's a small part.

    Rekless,

Like I've said many times. We need both the fluff and the intense research post.

There is nothing wrong with taking a break from being serious. If a person is serious all the time they will suffer burn out.

I tend to only get serious when face to face with someone. I just can't seem to put my feelings into written words. That is unless it is a personal matter.

Just go with your feelings. If fluff is the menue of the day so be it

I don't want someone in my life I can live with. I want someone in my life I can't live without.

I find like most things I go through phases ...

Sometimes it's serious stuff, sometimes bible research, sometimes the WTS history and behaviour, sometimes friends and fluff.

... of course Britney is a constant

Maybe it's because you are ready to move on to another thing, if you don't find the anti-jw site interesting anymore. Maybe, it's time to start new things because you are now completly free from the WBTS and you don't need to read all the stuff on the Internet anymore.

We become more attuned to the human condition when we recognize that God is not going to fix our problems.

    reckless,

Maybe you could compromise between reading fluff and serious stuff: you could only read serious fluff! (But only in moderation!)
