The Stone the Builders Rejected

Shelby, in my studies I have determined that the Beast out of the Earth of Revelation 13 IS the false prophet in Revelation 19 and 20:

Revelation 19 - 19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20 - 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The "false prophet" mentioned above is the one who performed signs on the behalf of the first beast. This is an identical characteristic of the Beast out of the Earth:

11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

The "second beast" is the false prophet. The Watchtower does indeed perform great signs and decieve the nations. One of these great signs is their preaching work empowered by systematic mind control (Ancient Egyptian). The Beast out of the Earth is real, but the image of the beast isn't actually real, it's an idol like I previously said. It has no real power whereas the Beast out of the Earth can perform actual greatness which is then used to deceive the nations (WORLD WIDE PREACHING WORK!). The Revelation At Hand book is part of this collective Image of the Beast. A literal interpretation would be man's, not JUST the Watchtower's, attempt to copyright Scripture by creating interpretive literature that they claim supersedes it. The true purpose of the Watchtower Writing Committee is writing false scripture that is then imposed upon the populace. Every JW that swallows the Revelation At Hand book, or any Watchtower publication for that matter, is engaging in cunning form of idolatry. They must immediately stop or face the ultimate consequences. That's why preaching is so important. A lot of people worship idols without knowing it and it's not just the Watchtower. People simply need to be informed.

As for your Hagar being the earth interpretation, I will have to give that a great deal of thought. I have a lot of business to attend to. This has been a great discussion.

Could anything be more Watchtower-like than arguing over the minutiae of so-called bible prophecy?

You are not helping anyone but yourself.

You know, dear Sab (peace to you, dear one!)... could be. I have not heard as to this and so can't disagree. It makes sense, but then many things seem to make sense but aren't necessarily true. So, I will leave it for now and wait on my Lord as I have no doubt he will clarify the truth of it to me. And I will certainly share that when he does, if we are both still here (LOLOL!). In the meantime, this HAS been a great discussion, IMHO, and I thank you AGAIN for allowing me to participate with you.

If for some reason you gain additional understanding as to ANY of these matters, I look forward to reading of and perhaps further discussing them. The wonderful thing about the entire revelation is that it IS a revelation that belongs to Christ, and only HE can "open" the meaning of its symbolizations, metaphors, literalities, depictions, comparisons, prophecies, and visions. I have had the privilege of having a LOT of that opened to me... and I am humbled by that privilege and the opportunity to share it... with WHOEVER is "thirsting." Even so, my sharing is merely a wisp of wind; there is One can open it... ALL of it... for any who wishes him to: my Lord, the HOLY One of Israel and Holy Spirit, JAHESHUA, the Son and Chosen One of JAH (MischaJah), the MOST Holy One of Israel. To THEM be the glory and honor!

    Again, peace to you!

YOUR servant and a doulos of Christ,

Interesting, although highly subjective - there seems to be a million different "interpretations" of this.

Although I must say, I find myself worried about the Biblical obsession with whores and harlots. You can't turn a page without some "prophet" writing about a whore here, a harlot there.......it's all "whore, whore, whore." Sheesh.

Ease up on the whores already, guys. We're knee-deep here.

Knee-deep in a whore would be interesting indeed.

PP - the prophets were obsessed with female sexuality.

Indeed, dear PA (peace to you!). Even MORE interesting is that some who claim NO belief in Christ, even as to his existence... current and prvioys... or in biblical symbolism, heck, even in GOD... find it necessary to read... let alone comment... on a thread such as this. Given the title, which refers to Christ (from a biblical perspective), even MORE interesting that certain posters deigned to comment, let alone read the thread. I mean, it's about the "STONE the BUILDERS REJECTED" fer chris'sake.

Yep. A whole LOT of "interesting" stuff happening on this board... lately. MOST interesting to ME is how some run around wreaking havoc and attempting to "call out" all manner of folks on the premise that such ones lack "control" over their thinking abilities... yet, the ones so doing... SEEM to lack control... over their own thoughts... fingers... mouses... and keyboards.

    VERY interesting, IMHO.

MAYBE... just maybe... THEY are the ones being "used"... by God.

Only two people have read this thread - you and Sab. (actually Loz too)

The rest of us got our fill of apocalyptic symbolisms in the cult. Seems like you can't get enough of it.

What does the word " prvioys " mean by the way?

I do not understand. If you are not interested in a topic, then why do you come on just to criticize those who are?

The Watchtower were obsessed with the esoteric meanings of every jot and tittle of books like Ezekiel and Revelation. I grew up listening to hours of bullshit about "Babylon the Great Has Fallen" and "The Finished Mystery".

As somebody who was too clever to be a JW you wouldn't understand that of course.

It is all complete and utter garbage that pays no heed to the context of the bible.

Here we are on a support forum for ex-JWs and we get self-appointed preachers spouting the same old nonsense.

That's why I bother to comment Tammy

If that's true, C... and I don't doubt that it really is... then NO ONE else really has grounds TO comment as to what it's about. Right? Any who does... and has not read the thread... including perhaps yourself... is really proceeding on true arrogance, are they not? I mean, how can you deign to comment on a topic of which you have NO knowledge or understanding about?

The rest of us got our fill of apocalyptic symbolisms in the cult.

Then perhaps "you" should have refrained. Unfortunately, seems you weren't able to.

Seems like you can't get enough of it.

And that's YOUR concern/problem... how? I mean, I certainly have had enough of, say, the Super Bowl. Why, then, would I even deign to be part of a discussion about it?

What does the word "prvioys" mean by the way?

It was a typo (which, unfortunately, your brain, as "intelligent" as you may wish others to believe it is... didn't seem to intelligenty grasp). My keyboard has some keying problems, right now. But surely, you could have presumed, given the context of the sentence. Or... maybe not.
