When I was in "dubland" they would announce how many of the "elite-class" was left on earth.
Do they still do this & what are the numbers etc.?

They post the figures in every January 1 WT.
For the 2001 service year, there were 8,730 partakers worldwide.

I wonder if anyone might have the figures for the past 25 years or so. I'm asking because I've heard that the number of partakers has been increasing.

According to WTS "Theocratic Theory" the numbers should not be increasing, because the number of the "elect" was "sealed" years ago.

Unfortunately, reality has a way of not cooperating with the WTS...

I have the latest CD Rom. Should I look up all the January WTs from the past 25 years and see if it has increased and do up a little chart?

Do you really think the society would print the increase though? My guess is that the mags show a decrease regardless if it is the actual truth or not.
