we have a very dedicated, sincere, humble, older elder body in our hall. along with a pretty zealous group of publishers. [even though no one has come out of our territory in 35 years] it seems i am the only one aware of the pattern of false prophecies and mistakes by the society. is everyone that oblivious or does that show Jehovah's spirit is still operating? no athiests respond please.

Everyone is that oblivious. Scary, ain't it?

    By the way, nice caveat.

No fruit on the vine. That tells the whole story.

Could Jehovah's Spirit have ever been truly operating within an organization founded on lies and maintained by lies ?

I thought Jehovah was incapable of lies Himself, so how could His Spirit be party to such ????

    **** is everyone that oblivious***

A JW can never be transparent and expose his doubts to brothers and sisters, it would be spiritual suicide ! This is the very environment that cults setup, it's unnatural and causes physiological damage, such as cognitive dissonance.

God's spirit is always available for help and guidence, but NOT because of logistics and location, or a specific religion, but for the heart and mind of people, as Jesus said, neither in this mountain or Jerusalem, but in spirit and truth.

If someone else is of the same opinion as u in that KH, they would have to blend in as well.

The WTS would be the last thing that Jerkhoobah would waste non existent holy spirit on, and suggests a close to mental imbalance to think he has ever done so.

To be fair and honest, there isn't a single "Christian" religion (IMHO) anywhere which teaches people the complete truth, as far as can be reasonably discerned from the Scriptures.

One glaring "elephant in the room" which virtually every one of them refuses to admit to, is the "hallmark" which Jesus said would identify his followers. (John 13:34,35) Also, John's words at 1 John 3:9-12.

Clearly, all the "Christians" involved in the mutual slaughter of one another in all the wars (crusades included) decided not to bother having these verses interfere with Caesar's laws.

In the 1st century there would be many decent Jews who were disgusted by the corrupt "organisation" existing then, but no doubt kept themselves as detached as possible from the corrupt teachings of the Pharisees.

Jehovah gives His spirit to those asking for it - it isn't a corporate hospitality benefit!

You know how I behave with senior believers? I engage them in conversations about their hobbies, interests, and opinions. I find they are often taken for granted and few take the time to have a genuine conversation with them. They are even more interesting as people than they are as publishers!

nowwhat?: it seems i am the only one aware of the pattern of false prophecies and mistakes by the society.

You're not alone, but no one dare speak up for fear of exposing themselves and being labelled an apostate, disfellowshipped and shunned.

What a nice religion: it makes you pretend to believe things you don't, it crushes your very individuality, your identity. It destroys your soul.

Once, we here were all as you are now.

    Plan your escape carefully.
