Book of Mormon the musical

I went and saw The Book of Mormon when I was in NYC last week. It was superb. So many great songs and so, so funny.

It made me realise how similar those poor deluded Mormons are to the deluded JWs. Although the Mormons, it must be said, have a special kind of wackiness and this is used to great comic effect by the writers.

But there are so many home truths revealed that ring so true for JWs as well. If you get the chance to see it - DO IT!!!

I would love to have the opportunity to see it some day. It looks hilarious. I only wish they could do a similar musical about JWs.

I am seeing it with my best friend on March 10th and a group of ex-JWs. I look forward to it.

Going to see it come the end of march.

Maybe inviting dubs to see it (and they will thinking they get to mock another religion) will wake them up a little.

@darth frosty, there's one song in there that will make any dub's ears bleed... It starts off with a "Hakuna Matata" like beat, until they explain what the catchy little phrase actually means (hint: it's totally blasphemous).
