Interesting Genetic Research Published on Dog Evolution

I'm much more interested in learning about the history of dogs than in ever more speculation on evolution, whether or no.

As I've said many times before, science is what interests me, and I don't think scientific research and the establishing of fact has anything whatsoever to do with whether God exists or not. To be honest, I can't really understand or find much in common with those who think it does.

ever more speculation on evolution - Char

    What speculation would that be?

Nobody I have ever met thinks science can prove there is no god any more than science can prove there is no teapot in orbit around Mars.

Science can prove there was no creation, no Adam and Eve, no fall from perfection, no flood.

None of that precludes the possibility of a god. I reject god for other reasons.

Strange that all I’ve done is call into question about how the genetic testing of 12 wolves can possibly lead to the conclusions being talked about. I guess I need a PHD to ask questions about evolution on this board?

No you just need to get some basics in place.

Attempt number 6 - which books about evolution have you read DD?

i completely agree with most of your post here, Cofty. You are of course totally free not to believe in God. I do totally believe in him. But I am not seeking to convert you! And for me, belief in God is completely in harmony with whatever scientific discovery brings, and that has nothing to do with proving God or not.

You are not getting my list. Any 5th grader knows that 12 wolves out of all wolves over the last 10,000 years is nothing. Not to mention the 60 dogs.

Why not? Does this mean you have never read a book about evolution written by a biologist?

Perhaps you could make it a project to learn the basics.

I still have no idea what your actual objections to the OP are. Can you explain please?
