Attitudes may change because of factors within the person. An important factor here is the principle of cognitive consistency, the focus of Festinger's (1957) theory of cognitive dissonance. This theory starts from the idea that we seek consistency in our beliefs and attitudes in any situation where two cognitions are inconsistent.
The problem is they will never see it that way. Their numbers will continue to swell from 3rd world growth, which will continue to make them feel blessed and legitimized. I think the only thing that will wake them up is a large organized protest right in front of their HQ.
I just don't see it that way. GB's have 7,000,000 people following them, a secure no worry future, they'll continue to live without a material care in the world until the day they die, borg has solid sources of income, lakeside retirement home is under construction right now, unhappy followers are kept at bay with phrases like "wait on Jeh, the Kingdom will solve all mankinds problems, deep in the last days, those who endure will survive..........." The only delusional loonie people are the ones paying for and believing it all and at the same time wondering how to make ends meet financially with no retirement plans, no money, and still writing checks to the world wide work (Wat NY construction projects)
Ok, what effect does the fact that they grossed almost 1 billion dollars in one year have in this matter of loonieness and also government hound dogs that would love to tap thier tax from it, all thes thing bear on the situation.

How can we calculate this effect on cognitive dissonance of the Governing Body and observe a predictable behavior, I say give the mind information and let the unconscious work on it and see what it brings up to conscious level. We might come to some great insights about ourselves in the process.
Understanding human nature means understand ourselves and how we respond the emotions we feel and what we project others feel. Becoming more conscious in other words.
Personally I see that an all or nothing decision making stance is entrenched which should lead to some gigantic blunders with lots of embaressment induced anxiety on thier part, or O SHIT! moments.
They are already churning out some pretty outlandish stuff and using scripture with wild abandon to drum in odedience of the rank and file, I wouldn't expect any let up right down to the very end as they play the emotions of guilt, fear, and love to keep the Corporation a float of which they have a sworn duty to do as COEs.
