  No skater kid would have such a ridiculous plaid shirt. They are really out of touch ....

  Perhaps they're going for an '80s kid movie style there...

  I figured they just smudged some dirt on the garbageman's face and it wasn't stubble there at all...

  Thing is, your presence out there actually says nothing at all to observers, because they have no idea what you are out there for if they don't know what your message is. Right? Ask anyone on the street what JWs believe, and what'll you probably hear? 'They don't celebrate birthdays', 'they don't take blood'--that'll be the majority of answers you get, but unless it's someone who actually studied with them a lot, you probably won't be hearing 'they preach the good news of the kingdom', that's for sure. Whenever your rules are better known than your message, you can consider your efforts to be a massive failure.

  Such a good point- the average person knows NOTHING about how destructive the theology and policies of JWs are.

  well they can't go on about how the many conversations at the door make a differance because most 'dubs would be like: "WTF?!?" So really all they have is to say that people know who u are, so keep doing what u are doing. Whatever that is.

  Once upon a time dubs had a little attention from the world. Now they are just another small cult with followers, just like all the others

  I recently asked an aquaintance about his thoughts about JW's. He honestly said, "I don't think about them."

  JW's are only relevant to JW's. People aren't so busy wondering about the work done and whether they are going to mess up and bring reproach on Jehovah's name. They hardly notice, if at all.

  Sandwich boards may have had their day, but the trolleys are coming.

  Discussion among the BoE in my cong (in the south UK) is all about these new trolleys.
