SMIDDY- This is a VERY good point which I have never considered ! I mean, yeah, how could women be " tested as to fitness first " on earth ( using WT phrasology here ) by being used as elders, C.O.'s, D.O.'s , etc. in positions of " oversight " then suddenly be thrusted up into heaven to rule as " kings and priests " ? I mean- it doesn't make sense. Of course NOTHING the WT Society teaches makes sense so it stands to figure. Peace out, mr. Flipper

Or they rule as KINGS and PRIESTS which were only men that held those positions. The scripture says over the earth. That doesn't necessarily mean they are in heaven ruling over the earth. We have governments and high officials ruling over the earth right now. Who's to say when Jesus comes and does his seperateing work that that's when the 144.000 is picked? When he turns darkness into light and the abundance of knowledge becomes real. It's a wait and see.

Even in a lot of churches, the role disparity makes less and less sense. I woke up to this one day, pondering the authority and responsibility I've held at a secular level (signing authority, budget, strategic planning, public speaking, presentations, hiring and firing), and how those positions are either traditionally or constitutionally held by men.

The church literally has halved it's talent pool.
