Such threads are not created but have a natural evolution that is unstoppable and tryingly predictable.

The thread killers of yore exist no more

Someone knocked and they answered the door

Their message took a crazy twist

They absolutely should persist

Because the threads have not been harmed

No one needs to be alarmed

Threads are moody, dark and deep

And sometimes they just fall asleep.

Mouthy, you should be honored that yours is the final and definitive post on a topic.

After you weigh in, there's nothing more anyone can write that adds anything substantive to the conversation.

Your years of wisdom allow you to have the last word on almost any topic.
